Abstract : The author discusses problems of aerial photography. It is indicated that color photography is conducted with aerial cameras intended for black-and-white. Problems of installation, changing cameras in flight, exposures, and the size and angle of the port-holes are mentioned. Difficulties encountered in the development of color film with the use of a spiral developing device are listed and recommendations are made for corrections. The author enumerates faults detected in the technology of aerial photo surveys, such as density, lack of shades, maintenance, storage and development, and makes recommendations for improvements.
