Abstract : In an ideal axisymmetrical magnetically stationary suspension in a vacuum, the rotation of the suspended body (armature) around its axis of symmetry occurs without an electromechanical moment, i.e., without attentuation. However, in real suspension systems, attenuation is observed, caused by a number of factors. The article discusses only the mements acting on the armature as it rotates about its axis of symmetry. The electromechanical moments arising when the armature rotates at low angular velocity (omega <10 deg/sec) can be divided into the moment resulting from vortex currents, the moments of elasticity and the hysteresis moment.
