Abstract : Mathematical modeling is the primary means for studying the escalation of tactical nuclear warfare. The strength of the findings using such models is directly related to the integrity of the model and the values of the parameters used therein. The sensitivity of the model to changes in initial parameters provides some measure of the criticality of the parameters selected.
