Abstract : The study is concerned with the reliability and validity of supervisor ratings made on airmen in two career ladders, the Administration Specialist (702X0/70490) and the Aircraft Mechanic (431X1/43190). The purpose of the study was to determine if either overall performance ratings or trait ratings are predictive over a considerable lapse of time, preferably over an interval which would embrace a change in the airman's supervisor.
