Abstract : Further analysis of a detection scheme called Multiple-Two-Hypothesis (MTH) testing is made. Two specific problems involving white gaussian noise are considered and solutions are derived for both M-ary and MTH detectors. Probabilities of error are calculated and compared for both detectors.
