Abstract : In the study a thermomechanical test method was used to measure the glass transition temperature of conformal coating materials. This physical property offered a quantitative measure of the thermal changes that occur in a conformal coating material after exposure to environmental conditions. The data obtained by this test method may be used as an aid in the quality evaluation of a conformal coating applied to printed wiring boards. (Author)
