Abstract : In view of the increasing concern for the national supply and rates of consumption of the various forms of energy, new and improved methods for the quantitative evaluation of the effects of various types of policies and events which influence energy usage, energy supply, and energy management, are needed. The study effort presented in this paper considers the case for which the form of energy is taken to be Avfuel (i.e. jet fuels and aviation gasolines), and for which the policies and events considered are those which would have a non-negligible effect on the U.S. military's Avfuel usage, Avfuel supply, and Avfuel management. For this particular case an analysis method is developed which can be used to evaluate the effects of such policies and events on the military's operations.
