Abstract : Cryonics has developed at the junction of solid-state physics, low-temperature physics and cryogenic technology. Among the variety of applications of superconductivity in the field of electronics, electrical engineering and machine building, the more promising are the four main trends: cryogenic memories, superconducting magnets, superconducting electric transmission lines, sensors and precision measuring devices. This paper discusses these trends.
