Abstract : Accelerated dry-wear tests of lifejackets showed that: (1) Treated drill envelopes had much better wear resisting qualities than Vinyl treated envelopes in winter weather at Curtis Bay, Maryland; (2) kapok filled pads retained their buoyant properties considerably better than cattail or milkweed filled pads.
