Abstract : Infrared radiation detectors of PbTe type were obtained by evaporation (by three methods) of a PbTe layer on a glass base provided with graphite electrodes. Given are measuring methods for the photoelectric sensitivity, equals to the power of noise (NEP), of normalized (D*) detection and relative visual sensitivity. It was observed, that PbTe layers have a lesser darker resistance and greater photoelectric sensitivity, when during the evaporation the oxygen pressure is higher in the apparatus. In addition heating of PbTe layers in vacuum changes their dark resistance, photoelectric sensitivity and long wave sensitivity threshold.
