Abstract : This specification covers the design, performance, and testing requirements for the radio navigation equipment for the supersonic transport aircraft. It is anticipated that PVDR capability may be a requirement for the SST airplane. This requirement could modify the description of the VHF navigation package which currently is planned to contain the VOR localizer and glide-slope functions. This specification covers the following radio navigation equipment: LF ADF, VHF navigation, Glide slope, Marker beacon and DME.
