Abstract : Capabilities of a CW YAG laser system constructed under this program are described. The efficiencies and beam characteristics (transverse mode selection and beam angle) using external reflectors are also discussed. Second harmonic generation experiments using lithium niobate are presented. Three milliwatts of 0.530 micron radiation were obtained in this work. (Author)
