Abstract : The author deals with the binary coding technique of digital computers. The machine(Computer) is seen as the means for solving various problems, processing information, and adjusting to environmental conditions. The learning process is examined, and a comparison is made between machines and human beings. The aspect of information evaluation is briefly covered. Finally, the possibility of cybernetic computers is considered. The computer is seen to be able to process information faster than can be recorded by the sense organs or their counterparts, telecameras, photocells, and microphones. The author sees the computer as an information storage apparatus and capable of logical thinking leading to new methods of carrying out work automatically.
