Abstract : A layered material of glass and copper is assembled. Bonding is too weak to permit cutting and machining to the required size. A sliced sample of Pyrographite is tested in which the voids between bars are filled with colloidal graphite. Satisfactory contact is obtained by this means. A Theoretical analysis of the use of anisotropic materials as admittance wall amplifiers is begun. Dispersion relations for determining the growth of waves in such devices are obtained. Numerical solution will be employed. (Author)
