Abstract : The proximity spectrum is a means of evaluating damage potentials of shocks and vibrations. The concept, its uses and the results of studies utilizing the concept have been reported in previous papers. This report describes a computer program which was developed to generate the data in the previous reports. The program is written in IBM 7090/7094 Fortran IV language for the IBM 7044-7094 Direct Couple Operating System. The program is capable of handling a large variety of analytical forcing functions which simulate various shock pulses or transient vibrations. The program should be useful to design engineers, test engineers, test and design specification writers and scientists studying environmental effects.
