Abstract : Blue Goose is a six-degree of freedom digital computer program written specifically for trajectory and dispersion analysis of the Blue Goose (BG) vehicle. The BG is an unguided, spin-stabilized vehicle. The rigid body equations of motion are complete and make no linear assumptions. The analysis includes the following effects: oblate, spheroidal, rotating earth; high angle of attack aerodynamics at lift off; thrust misalignment and jet damping. The report is complete and needs no references. The equations of motion are general in that they apply to most axially-symmetric vehicles. The existing computer program is specific in that the equations of motion have been applied to a specific vehicle. With a thorough understanding of the dynamic principles presented, their application to the BG vehicle, and basic computer programming, the reader should be able to adapt the program to another vehicle.
