The engineering evaluation and operational suitability test was conducted with the aircraft installed in the Climatic Laboratory, Eglin Air Force Base, Florida. A total of 26 runs was conducted at +70, 0, -25, -45, -65 and +115 degrees Fahrenheit controlled temperature for a total of 26:48 hours of operation.
