Abstract : This report gives the results of gain calculations, developed by J. C. Polanyi, when applied to the hydrogen fluoride and hydrogen chloride chemical lasing systems. The details of converting existing experimental and theoretical information into data usable in the gain calculations are discussed. The computer programs are supplied in the appendix. (Author)
