Abstract : The solubility of various forms of ZnO in KOH solutions has been measured over a KOH concentration range of 20 to 45%, and a temperature range of 0 to 50 C. There is very little difference in solubility of the various forms of ZnO nor is there any significant temperature dependence. A review of the reported solubility values of ZnO and Zn(OH)2 is also given. (Author)
