Abstract : The Study of Hydrocarbon Fuel Vapor Phase Deposits is divided into two main phases. In the first phase, the purpose of the work is to uncover the underlying processes involved in deposit formation in a so-called empty wing tank of a supersonic aircraft. In the second phase, potential methods for alleviating the deposit formation problem will be investigated. The total performance period for this Contract is three years, and it is anticipated that approximately two years will be devoted to the Phase 1 portion of the program. (Author)
