Abstract : The analytic model presented in this note can be used to describe the number of vehicles allocated to a Naval Air Station as a function of activity factors and functional factors. A modified least squares approach was used to determine the three activity factors per each station (K, M, and N) and the seven functional factors (f sub i; i = 1,7) least squares approach utilized a logarithm transformation to convert a product to a sum.
