Abstract : This report contains all information pertinent to the development of the Zero-G PG MOL-HSQ Experiment to test the ability of the Acoustica infrasonic Zero-G propellant gage to measure liquid quantities in a bladderless tank under varying gravity conditions including zero. Basically, the Acoustica Zero-G gaging system utilizes infrasonic energy applied to the contents of a tank to determine the gas/liquid compressibility ratio. This measurement yields gas volume directly, irrespective of tank or liquid geometries. The MOL-HSQ Simulated Laboratory, boosted by a Titan III vehicle, was successfully launched from ETR, 3 November 1966. The flight data results, analysis, conclusions and recommendations are presented. (Author)
