Abstract : A method of time-multiplexing the output signals from an ultrasonic transducer array for the visual display of an acoustic image by intensity modulation of a cathode ray tube is presented. Considerations pertinent to the design of an all solid-state analog switching system are discussed and the design of a particular system described. Results of tests using simulated signals are presented. (Author)
