Abstract : One of the most important factors affecting the combat readiness of Army field units is the availability of repair parts (Classes II and IV supply). This report, the first in a series that will consider problems affecting repair-parts supply at all echelons from organizational (user-unit) level to the national level, presents an analysis of user-unit and direct-support-unit repair-parts supply operations within Seventh Army, Europe.
