Abstract : The equations representing the three translational and three rotational degrees of freedom describing missile motion in the Earth's atmosphere are derived and shown to be generic to all short range guided missiles. Force and moment reference, mass, vector, and angular velocity transformations are presented for the more common orthogonal coordinate systems. (Author)
