Abstract : A transient analysis was made for each mode of operation of the Instrumentation Umbilical Disconnect ordnance circuit. Comparison of the results obtained with known characteristics of the electric squib and hazardous current monitor circuit enabled definite conclusions to be drawn regarding squib (and monitor) performance.
