Abstract : The article describes a new system attached to the IKS-12 infrared spectrometer for measuring the spectral coefficients of reflection in friable materials; the system is based on the mirror hemisphere method. It is demonstrated that the losses of reflected radiation can be calculated through the use of special coefficients. The reflection spectra of sand and soil in the 0.7 - 15 micrometers wave length range received with the IKS-12 attachment were used.
