Abstract : Detailed analysis of the two component two-phase generator liquid metal MHD cycle has indicated very favorable performance for space applications. Computational procedures were developed which adequately predict the performance of two-phase flow generators. The studies completed indicate that the high predicted performance of the liquid metal MHD power system should be realizable. (Author)
