Abstract : This appendix--Elastic Results (Westerly Granite)--to Volume I contains all of the plotted output obtained from the five demonstration problems. The five problems were run with a 1 MT weapon for the following material descriptions: Elastic Granite; Viscoelastic Granite; von Mises Plastic Granite; Coulomb-Mohr Granite; Three Layer; 50 ft layer of von Mises shale over 150 ft layer of Coulomb-Mohr limestone over elastic granite. Vertical and horizontal displacement, velocity and stress data were plotted at ranges of 700 ft (10,000 psi), 825 ft (6,000 psi) and 1,050 ft (3,000 psi).
