Abstract : The overall objective of the antifouling program is to develop and evaluate new antifouling materials and to investigate alternative methods that will provide naval vehicles and installations with more effective antifouling protection. The objective of this report is to observe the effects upon fouling of visible light and to determine whether this parameter can be used to prevent or control fouling by acorn barnacles.
