Abstract : The two-part article concerns the storage of chemical agents and special clothing for working in warehouses where these chemicals are stored. Volatile chemicals must be stored in dry, well-ventilated warehouses of thick walls and smooth concrete floors. The chemicals are stored in containers (according to the nature of the chemical) and stored separately according to designation. Personnel working in these warehouses must wear good protective clothing to prevent the volatile chemicals from coming into contact with them. Coveralls of cotton, which are impenetrable by dust, rubberized or plastic-coated apron and breastplate, combination mittens, and a cotton hood make up the standard uniform. Variations of these, plus additional clothing for working during the winter are also mentioned. (Author)
