Abstract : This report defines tests performed to determine the following: the flow characteristics (liquid trajectory) of the fill jet issuing from the fuel staging disconnect during fill using water as the flow medium, the loads upon the tank and the effect of the jet impingement on the missile internal structure, pressure losses and flow rates in the fill plumbing during tanking, and the imposed stresses on the fill duct during filling operations.
