Abstract : A rapid and accurate formulation of the compatibility equations at the junction of the cylinder and spherical cap is more convenient when using dimensionless coefficients. It is the object of this study to relieve some of the tedious and time-consuming calculations involved in computing the discontinuity stresses at the junction. The coefficients as tabulated were programmed on a computer. (Author)
