Abstract : The accuracy of analog solution may be increased by the use of improved quality analog computers provided with precisely working operational units. Another way of improving the accuracy of analog solution consists in systematic error decrease of operational units placed in the existing computer. Very often when solving many problems on a specific analog computer not all operational units are employed, and usually free units remain which may be used to improve the solution accuracy by means of error compensation of solving units. Generally, however, an error compensation method may also be helpful when designing new units and complete analog computers. One method allows us to considerably reduce systematic errors of analog computation and, in everyday practice, easily yields good results. (Author)
