Abstract : A scale model of the Azusa antenna was tested to determine the effects of the antenna fairing on the heat transfer rate distribution on the strut. The tests were conducted at Mach 6.6 and a total gas temperature of 4000 degrees R in the Thermodynamics Laboratories rocket-powered wind tunnel. (Author)
