Abstract : Based on 1,438 1000-1700 MST and 1,869 2200-0500 MST upper air soundings taken at White Sands Desert Site, White Sands Missile Range, New Mexico during the period from 1961 through 1967, day-night seasonal vertical profiles of maximum, mean, and minimum wind, temperature, pressure, density, moisture, and index of refraction from 6,000 to 100,000 feet MSL are presented. Relative frequency distributions of wind and moisture are also included. (Author)
