Abstract : The results of the error analysis presented shows the feasibility of the proposed Apollo vehicle. The assumed accuracy of the optical vehicle-borne tracker of 0.0003 radians would produce sufficient accuracy to accomplish the mission without aid of earth based trackers during the midcourse and lunar phases of the flight.
