Abstract : Equations are derived for: (a) the target line-of-sight elevation angular rate required to release a bomb, and (b) the crosswind lead angle used in steering the aircraft in azimuth for an angular rate bombing system (ARBS). The assumed ARBS consists of a videcon tracker mounted on a nonroll, stabilized platform. (Author)
