Abstract : The static and dynamic aerodynamic properties for a group of 5.6 caliber long shell with a 0.6 caliber eight degree boattail and a 2.9 caliber long secant ogive head are presented for a range of Mach number from 0.55 to 1.8. The four shells are the 105mm XM380E5, XM380E6, T388 and the 155mm T387. Stability properties of the 105mm versions are determined and their probable in-flight behavior discussed. (Author)
