Abstract : The program was divided into three phases, with the following general objectives: To establish the process conditions necessary for producing fine beryllium wire by HYDRAW; to determine processing sequences and conditions necessary for producing long continuous lengths of high-quality, 0.005-inch-diameter beryllium wire; and to produce a continuous length of 1500-2000 feet of 0.005-inch-diameter beryllium wire to verify the processing sequence and to enable evaluation by users.
