Abstract : The United States Army Electronics Command (USAECOM) geophysical test facility located in the Evans Area of Fort Monmouth, New Jersey is described with respect to its physical and electromagnetic environmental parameters. The dielectric constant, effective conductivity, and attenuation values are given for the surrounding soils at frequencies appropriate to detection problems (50 - 500 MHz). (Author)
