Abstract : This study traces the development of a simulation of Operation STRANGLE, a World War II interdiction compaign. Primary emphasis is placed on the assumptions and necessary approximations made in the process of constructing the model in order to reduce the complex theaterwide conflict into several aggregated time dependent events. The campaign is discussed as well as the model methodology and structure. The computer program, written in FORTRAN IV, is listed and a sample verification run is included. (Author)
