Abstract : Shock wave phenomena and turbulence are significant factors that must be taken into account in the design of supersonic missiles. For instance, the base drag and the heating properties of the surface of a missile are considerably influenced by the state of turbulence of the boundary layer of the missile in flight. This report contains a detailed investigation of the properties of the solutions of the non-linear differential equation, which is connected with the study of turbulent flow and the formation of shock waves. Exact particular solutions of the above equation are obtained and investigated.
