Abstract : An improved method of analysis makes possible the prediction of intermodulation frequencies by computing the greatest common factor of the transmitter frequencies. A technique for graphical representation of the intermodulation spectrum is presented, together with a preliminary indication of how to apply the analysis to cases involving more than two transmitters. Rules for the design of a shipboard test to unambiguously measure very-high-order intermodulation products between two transmitter frequencies are stated. (Author)
