Abstract : This is a three-phase program to determine and demonstrate the production suitability of the Electroform Conductive Wax process in conjunction with conventional production processes for the manufacture of fluidic systems. During this phase, Phase I, an integrated amplifier-manifold hydrofluidic stability augmentation system using the Electroform Conductive Wax process was successfully designed, fabricated, and qualification tested, and a pilot production line using the Electroform Conductive Wax process was defined. The pilot production line includes all manufacturing, inspection, and assembly equipment necessary to produce the integrated amplifier-manifold hydrofluidic stability augmentation systems. During Phase II, the pilot production line will be set up and checked out by fabrication and test of these systems. The fabrication and test data is to be analyzed and process modifications are to be accomplished as necessary. During Phase III, a small 'proof' production run is to be accomplished, component quality determined, and a Technical Data Package prepared. (Author)
