Abstract : The purpose of the study is to increase the author's knowledge of the F-16 Deputy Program Manager for Logistics' (DPML's) tasks and objectives and what role Distribution (supply and transportation) plays in the Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Program. Interviews were conducted addressing the particular areas of interest in the ILS and F-16 DPML effort. An analysis of the interview discussions on specific areas of interest was made and followed by the author's conclusion comments. Recommendations made by the author included increased DPML authority and support and delegation of ILSO personnel authorization and cost of ownership to the DPML.
