Abstract : State-to-state cross sections for the reaction O+H2(v,j) yields OH(v,j) + H are calculated by classical trajectory methods. The collision velocity and the initial vibration--rotation quantum numbers are chosen to be compatible with the values these parameters would have in a high-altitude missile plume-atmosphere interaction. The computed results are least squares fit to functional forms to provide simple working formulas for the corss sections. (Author)
