Abstract : A nonlinear scene analysis algorithm is studied for complex scenes containing realistic targets and background clutter. Infrared and visible spectrum light images are processed. The algorithm combines the Fourier transform phase array of a scene with the Fourier transform magnitude of a template to create a new image. Clutter reduction ability and target recognition capability are examined in detail.
