Abstract : The MLM data adaptive array processor, as an estimator of the frequency/wavenumber function of a multidimensional random process, is used to determine crustal transmission losses. Results obtained with a set of seismic refraction data from the ROSE experiment are presented. A method, implemented in the TL determination, for correcting errors in the amplitude of the estimates, due to the MLM bias that occurs when using sparse arrays, is introduced. (Author)
