Abstract : A new approach is presented for the utilization of pseudospectral techniques for the solution of inviscid flows with shock waves using the full Euler equations of motion. Artificial viscosity is applied together with low pass spectral filtering to damp out pre and post cursor numerical oscillations. Solutions are presented for the one dimensional propagating shock wave problem and for two dimensional supersonic wedge flows. (Author)
